We got our Fisher boy in October of 2008. We were hesitant at first to get
another dog because we already had a small dog but once we contacted Trina
and Jarret and went by for the first visit-we were hooked! Seeing all
those sweet little brown puppies was too much to say no. We put a deposit down
and chose one-the smallest male they had. It was hard to wait the
required number of weeks until they were ready but that gave us time to think of
the perfect name for our newest addition. He fell asleep in my arms on the way
home-heaven!
We had a 5 year old at the time and right from day one Fisher took to him,
no aggressiveness, no biting and much to our happiness, he is not a chewer
either. He has lots of outside time, which he loves-especially when we
take him to our Lake house-he loves the water very much. He loves his stuffies
too-he can often be seen following us around the house with one in his
mouth. Tennis balls are also a big hit with our boy. Fisher is such a
people dog-people who come to visit us always remark on his dark, rich
chocolate brown colour and his gentle, even natured temperament. I run a
day home out of our house and when he comes down to visit the kids, he is
so laid back and gentle-no jumping! He is a great kid friendly dog. I would
highly recommend Hazard County Labradors to anyone looking for a Lab.
Trina and Jarret provided us with all the paper work, going back to Fisher's
parents and grandparents. They acted professionally and we could tell the
puppies were well taken care of.
Fisher has grown into a member of our family. Every day I am touched by
this sweet dogs personality and gentle nature, he has touched our hearts
and soul in so many ways...I would give my life for this animal. Fisher's
love for us is indescribable. I often say that Fisher's heart is his
tail, he always wags it and always has love for us, it is his way of showing us that he is "our angel".
We are keeping in touch with the Wideman's because, it is not "if" we
adopted another puppy from them, it is only
